Bill Pringle Bio


Bill Pringle received a BA degree in Mathematics in 1968 from the University of Iowa and a Masters of Engineering from Penn State Great Valley in Paoli, PA. He has worked as a software engineer in academic and corporate settings since 1967, has been creating web sites since the inception of the web, and has taught computer science courses part-time since 1983.

A senior software engineer experienced in requirements analysis, design, and development of large applications, software tools, web applications, standards and procedures, training classes, and whatever it takes to meet the customer's needs. Can work alone or in a group. Enjoys diversity and mentoring others.

Quickly understands the needs of an organization, suggesting improvements that typically address the major problems that were identified by the organization, along with additional problems that were previously unknown. The end result is a more efficient organization that makes fewer errors and completes tasks in less time, possibly with less people.

Part-time college teaching experience. Excellent communication and teaching skills. Frequently asked to design and conduct customized training classes for internal staff, presentations for customers, proposals, etc.

Developing web sites and web applications since the beginning of the Web. One public web site receive 300-350 hits per day and has over 26,000 links pointing to it.
